April!

We've had a great April so far! Rachel got to hang out with her little man all weekend...

Thomas is trying to figure out Puffs, little first finger foods. Bella also enjoys his Puff-flinging endeavors. Russell caught a few ZZZs with his boy while watching baseball on Sunday.

6 months old!

Thomas turned 6 months old this weekend! We're not sure how that happened. He's sitting up (mostly) unassisted, eating (almost) everything we give him, and even learning to play baseball!

Many thanks to Erik and Lori for sending us their Jumperoo! Thomas LOVES it. Let the jumping begin!

Wedding Dress Redux

Instead of keeping my wedding dress preserved in a box in the closet in the hopes that strapless dresses are still in fashion by the time a daughter or granddaughter is married (yeah, right), I decided to get some use out of it. A friend-of-a-friend used the satin train to sew two baptism outfits, a boy's and a girl's. Thomas wore the boy's romper last week, and the girl's is just in case! Here is the sad state of my dress now, and the two adorable outfits. I think it's nice symbolism of the journey from bride to mother. If anyone would like the name of my friend, I highly recommend her! She does lovely work.

Dunked!

Our boy was baptized last weekend at Holy Trinity here in Philly. We had great fun all weekend with visiting family and friends. Thomas is blessed to have so many wonderful people in his life!
